ARCessible Art will be featured at “The Art of Teaching” group art show at Sage Bird Ciderworks starting on Friday, June 5th!
This unique exhibit showcases education experiences in the form of art. For those participating, inspiration can be a teacher or mentor that motivated the artist, a memory from school, learning a new skill as an adult, celebration of an alma mater, a student the artist taught, or a notable piece of curriculum, to name a few.

The Arc of Harrisonburg and Rockingham will be submitting an original woodcut painting. Based off the work of an artist with IDD, the work will be transformed by The Arc of HR’s ARCessible Art Coordinator and professional artist, Nathanael Eby, while keeping the original artist’s creative vision and artistic elements. The work will be sold at a professional price that respects the original creativity of the Arc participant and the time and talent of Nathanael, with all proceeds going to The Arc of Harrisonburg and Rockingham to help fund ARCessible Art.
