The Arc of Harrisonburg and Rockingham is proud to partner with the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank to offer a free, monthly Community Food Market for individuals and families in our area.
Beginning in May, food distributions will take place on the third Wednesday of each month at the Lucy F. Simms Center, located in Harrisonburg’s historic Northeast Neighborhood. This effort is rooted in a space that has long been a center for community connection, making it a meaningful place to continue supporting access to essential resources.
The market provides fresh produce at no cost and is open to neighbors, families, and community members throughout the area. Current market hours are planned for 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
In the event of inclement weather, adjustments may include rescheduling to the following day or offering indoor pickup options to ensure continued access.
We invite you to join us each month at the Lucy F. Simms Center as we work together to strengthen our community and expand access to food for all.
