Lanterns & Lace: Annual Board Meeting & Banquet
The Arc of Harrisonburg and Rockingham invites our community to a special evening for our annual board meeting, followed by a formal banquet celebrating the participants of The Arc.
Since Angela M. Carter joined The Arc, participants have shared two big requests: a pet fish and a formal prom. The first request brought us Bluey, our beloved office fish. Now, with the help of generous sponsors, we are making the second request happen through Lanterns & Lace, a special banquet designed to give our participants a joyful, memorable, and formal evening with their community.

Who Can Attend
This event is first and foremost for The Arc community, including participants, participants’ families, staff, board members, and sponsors. These guests are invited to attend at no cost.
Community members outside of The Arc’s immediate community are also welcome to join us at a ticketed price.
$35 for an adult ticket
$25 for a those 12 and under
RSVP for a guaranteed night to remember
Evening Schedule
The evening will begin with The Arc’s formal annual board meeting, with everyone in attendance invited to be present. Once the board meeting has concluded, the event will transition into the Lanterns & Lace banquet.
The banquet will include a catered dinner, dancing and music with a local DJ, a photo booth with a professional photographer, and more. Many of these special details are being made possible through sponsorships and in-kind donations so that participants can enjoy a meaningful and memorable evening.
