The Arc of Harrisonburg and Rockingham is proud to support our local middle school backpack programs through a year-round hygiene drive.

Access to everyday hygiene essentials can make a meaningful difference in a student’s health, well-being, and confidence. By collecting and distributing these important items through local school backpack programs, we can help ensure that students and families in our community have access to the personal care products they need.

Every donation, big or small, makes an impact!

What Can I Donate?

We’re collecting a variety of everyday hygiene and personal care essentials, including:

• Dental Care: Toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss
• Soap: Bar soap and body wash
• Hair Care: Shampoo and conditioner
• Deodorant: Everyday personal hygiene products
• Personal Care: Menstrual hygiene products, combs, brushes, and other essentials

Donations are accepted year-round!

Drop-Off Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Can’t Make It to Our Drop-Off Location?

We understand that not everyone can deliver donations in person! If you’re interested in contributing but unable to visit our location, contact us to arrange a donation pickup.
