Celebrating Service, Community, and Food Security
The Arc of Harrisonburg and Rockingham invites community members, partners, and advocates to join us for our 2026 Martin Luther King Jr. Ceremony, taking place on January 20, 2026, from 12:00–1:00 PM at the historic Lucy F. Simms Center.
This ceremony follows our annual MLK Food Distribution, which supports individuals and families experiencing food insecurity across Harrisonburg and Rockingham County. The event is a time to reflect on Dr. King’s legacy, celebrate the spirit of service and volunteerism, and recognize the collective efforts of organizations and individuals working toward a more just and equitable community.
