If you or someone you care about has a Developmental Disability (DD) Waiver, The Arc of Harrisonburg and Rockingham offers a variety of programs and services designed to promote independence, community inclusion, and personal growth.
Our dedicated team works alongside individuals, families, and support networks to create meaningful opportunities every day. Services may include:
- Community Engagement – Opportunities to participate in local events, volunteer programs, and recreational activities that build confidence and belonging.
- Transportation Support – Reliable rides to and from programs, community activities, and other destinations to ensure access and participation.
- Advocacy & Self-Advocacy Support – Guidance and resources to help individuals speak up for their needs, rights, and goals.
- Specialized Programs – Including art, wellness, technology skills, and more, tailored to the abilities and interests of each participant.

If you have a DD Waiver and would like to explore our services:
- Ask your local Community Services Board (CSB) about making a referral to The Arc of Harrisonburg and Rockingham.
