Welcome Maggie!

Welcome our new Communications Intern, Maggie Smith! Maggie is a JMU student currently majoring in Graphic Design. Originally from Newport News, Virginia, Maggie is adjusting to the much colder climate of Harrisonburg. After graduation, Maggie hopes to move to a city and work for a firm or company designing music album art or magazine spreads. 

When it comes to her time at The Arc, Maggie is excited to spend time with the participants at The Arc and hopes to use her creative ideas and designs to better share the organization’s message of inclusive action. One of her passions is to see people claim their unique identity with confidence and to be able to celebrate their unique way of being no matter the limitations they may face in life. When not designing, you can find Maggie drawing, listening to music, gaming, walking, and reading. Welcome to the team, Maggie!
